and relaxing village pub, almost under the railway viaduct. It has a
single L-shaped room with drinkers by the fire at one end and dining
tables at the other, decorated throughout with an interesting collection
of memorabilia. Tables outside and a beer garden across the car park
allow for al fresco drinking, while there is a sheltered, heated
smokers' area at the back. Open folk music evenings are held alternate
Thursdays as well as occasional fundraising events for a children's
hospice. Children and dogs welcome. |
