St Austell IPA, Dartmoor Best Bitter, Tribute  (H)

Lively, welcoming village-centre local, named after the sound of the horn of passing stagecoaches. Situated in the heart of the china clay district, many of the pub's customers are associated with this industry. This comfortable pub has a  large Z-shaped bar displaying an interesting collection of carved coconuts and witches' effigies. The pub is family-friendly and has five ensuite B&B rooms, making it an ideal base for touring the county or visiting the Eden project only 5km away. Meals are served all day, with breakfast available from 0800.  Live music most Sunday evenings. The pub is very busy on the day of the annual silver band festival in June.
