Cove Inn Open
W/days:
1200-1500,
1900-2300 (1200-2300 Sat & summer) This
3-roomed inn is tucked away by the harbour in a compact fishing village
snuggling down in a narrow valley on the Lizard coast. Over 300 years
old, the inn remains (at Dec 05) unspoilt since its smuggling days, and
relics from the local seafaring past adorn the walls. Singing is a
traditional pastime at the inn, as are darts and euchre, and there are
weekly folk or jazz nights. Seafood is a speciality - much of it caught
locally and landed at the harbour. Not all of the above ales may be
available. Meals are served 1200-1430, 1900-2130. Parking is at the
public car park at the edge of the village. |
