(H) Family-friendly
and unpretentious two-room town pub with open stone walls and low beamed
ceilings, over 300 years old and popular with locals; children are
welcome. The 'public' is floored partly in tiles, partly in wood, the separate lounge is

and the pub is decorated with many interesting knick-knacks, such as
long-vanished domestic products in display cases and old toys. The beer
garden overlooks an early stage of the River Camel. Home-cooked meals
include a selection of fresh fish. Food is offered 1200-1400 and
1800-2100 (all day in summer) in the restaurant area. |
