This small, one-bar community pub is set in a lovely village, a little off the beaten track. Three real ales are usually offered, at least one of them local (often from St Austell Brewery) and dispensed either by gravity or from two handpumps. Food is available daily 1200-1400 and 1800-2100 except sun evenings, which is quiz night. Monday evenings are for darts, while euchre is played on Wed. A large screen TV caters for sporting occasions.  The pub name derives from a family who formerly occupied the local manor house.
