16th-century village pub with thick stone walls and low beams. The
single small bar serves many cosy little snugs, including a downstairs
room called the Old Cellar. The walls are decorated with interesting
knick-knacks and artwork, including a mural. Home-made food is
served daily in three separate dining rooms; Sunday lunches are
especially popular and it is advisable to book ahead. A separate
meeting/function room is available. The car park is large, once you find
it round the back, and there is a beer garden - but be careful of
the entrance steps from there into the pub. |
