(H) This
well-used 300 year old inn with its low ceiling and wooden beams is set
back from the main road close to the fishing harbour, and lies on the
Cornish cycle route. The pub features a long bar, restaurant area and a
patio with barbecue,
very popular in summer. A convivial local, it changes the guest
beer monthly. The landlord's guitar leads a small jazz group every
Sunday lunchtime.
Home-cooked food uses local sources, including Newlyn-landed fish
- see the daily specials board. Parking is limited - you need a ticket
from the bar staff at busy times. |
