lively country pub set high among the old copper mines near Carn Brea
was once a grocery shop for the miners. There are two bars, the larger
one hosting some form of live entertainment nearly every night except
Wednesdays, which is 'pub night' - conversation rules. Sunday lunchtime
there is also live music to accompany a raffle in support of local charities.
The beer list above is indicative only; the range sometimes extends up to nine
ales. The Skinner's beer is sometimes changed and may be Blonde or one
of their seasonal brews, while guest ales may also appear from various
sources The pub house beer is called No-Name, as it was never given one!
Food is available all day. |
