This is a convivial old village community pub on the eastern edge of Newquay - note the old 'off-sales' servery hatch. The public bar features wooden bench seating, pool table and dartboards, plus a very vocal parrot! The lounge includes dining areas, and breakfast is available 0700-1100; the lounge also doubles as a function room. The pub invites live bands to perform twice a month in summer, normally Sat nights, while Sun is quiz night. The single guest ale in winter is supplemented by a second in summer.
