Set in beautiful countryside with magnificent sea and moorland views, this free house on the north coast road is named after the nearby prominent headland. It has a large bar with several roomy drinking areas and two log fires providing winter warmth; there are also a stylish restaurant and a cosy snug. The décor features local art.  The beer range may drop to two during winter. Outside there is a large garden mostly laid to lawn, ideal for the kids on hot summer days. Food is sourced from local produce, and is available 1230-1430, 1830-2130. The hotel is community-orientated, holding weekly Cornish song and poetry evenings and monthly folk evenings. The accommodation is in 6 letting rooms. Local buses (daytime only) stop outside the door.
