old granite free house was formerly the home of the owner of nearby
Geevor mine. Sporting a large single bar with open beams, it also has
two separate dining areas and a snug. Handy for coastal walkers,
families with children are welcome. Food is available 1200-1400 and
1700-2030, with traditional roast on Sundays. The beer menu is varied,
including sometimes that from Skinner's, with up to 4 guest ales in
summer; cider is Bounds Scrumpy, from Westons. B&B
accommodation consists of 2 singles and 2 doubles. Regular bus services
pass the door. |
