Welcoming 17th century slate and ivy-clad country inn near the Sterts open air theatre, attracting both local and passing trade and enjoying a reputation for decent beer and good value food. One guest ale is available in winter, up to 3 in summer. The cider is Weston's Old Rosie. The public bar houses the pool table and a jukebox, the lounge is for quieter reflection; both have stone walls and are floored in slate and stone. Live music appears about fortnightly. The food is available 1200-1400 (roast until 1430 Sun) and 1800-2100. The conservatory commands stunning views towards the Tamar valley and Dartmoor. Dogs are not allowed in the pub.
