(H) A
16th century coaching inn that has had many names, the current one in
respect of a local family. Situated in the heart of town, there are two
stone-flagged bars, one either side of the archway, and a third in the
old stables at the back. Not all of the real ales may be available,
depending on season and demand. All ages are welcome. |

(H) Across
the bridge from the town centre, this traditional 16th century coaching
inn is worth the small effort needed to find it. The pub has an
intimate, welcoming atmosphere, and sports a beamed ceiling, wooden
floor and fine leaded front window. On three levels, it is surprisingly
extensive inside; the lower end is the main bar, the middle area is set
aside for dining, whilst the uppermost level is the 'sports memorabilia
bar', housing the pool table and large plasma TV as well as a variety of
seating including sofas.
This last also doubles as a function room, which can be hired.
Food is available 1200-1500 and 1800-2200 daily. |

(H) A
much-refurbished open-plan pub in the heart of Wadebridge, the single
large U-shaped bar area confines the pool table, machines etc to one
end, the rest being more relaxed and family-friendly.
The opposite end of the room features a restaurant/function room
where a carvery is available on Sundays 1200-1500. |
