partitioned nooks and crannies in this traditional village local.
Exposed stone walls, wood furnishings and the open fire in winter create
a cosy ambience. The pub is run by enthusiastic licensees who regular
vary the guest beer, described as 'usually something interesting'. The
house beer by Skinner's is a blend called Zelah Mist, and there is a
draught cider. Excellent home-cooked meals are prepared using
locally-supplied produce - home-made pies are a speciality. A
Newquay-Truro bus service stops close by during the day. |
